Computer
A computer is an electronic device that can perform multiple tasks at the same time.
A computer system can be further categorised into two types
1. Hardware
2. software
1.Hardware
Hardware refers to the physical parts of a computer that can be seen or touch.
For example - Keyboard Mouse Monitors Printer CPU .etc
There are two type of computer hardware
1. External hardware
For Example- Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, UPS, Printer, Mic etc.
2. Internal hardware
For Example- Motherboard, RAM,ROM .etc
1. External hardware
External hardware referred to the preferrels and devices that are connected to a computer externally usually through port and connectors like that mouse and keyboard
External hardware component are classified as input device output device and storage device
Input device
Input devices are used to enter data and instruction into a computer. These instructions can be in the form of typed text command or any other base in which a computer to able to understand these instructions keyboard mouse light pen scanner microphone joystick etc
Output device
Output devices are the devices that help users get results from a computer these results can be in the form of a hard copy or soft copy.
For example -Monitor, Printer, Speaker, Projector etc
Storage device
A storage device is used to store data and information they be our brain stores memories hot etc for example- Hard disk, Pen drive, RAM, ROM, floppy disk, CD, DVD, Memory card etc
Software
A software is a setup programs or instructions that tell a computer what to do it can be seen but cannot be touched.
it is an essential part of a computer system which make the computer hardware work.
Software can divided into two types.
- System software
- Application software
1. System software
A system software is a programs required to set of the proper functioning of a computer. for example- windows, Linux, MacOS .etc
System software are divided into various type-
- Operating system
- Language processor
- Utility software
- Device driver
2. Application software
a software which is especially designed to program a particular type of function they are divided into two categories
- Special purpose software
- General purpose software
